Ruby red in colour tending towards garnet.
On the nose, sensations of violet, berries and plum follow one another in sequence, then black pepper, pleasant menthol touches and sensations of leather and chocolate.
On the palate it expresses vigor and roundness, with excellent tannins that anticipate a very long finish.

Tenuta Pian delle Vigne, located 6 km southwest of Montalcino, takes its name from the town of the same name, home to a characteristic 19th-century railway station. The estate comprises 184 hectares, 65 of which are planted with vineyards, with a primarily southwest exposure, at an altitude of approximately 130 meters above sea level.

Pian delle Vigne represents Marchesi Antinori's profound and personal interpretation of the prestigious and traditional Brunello wine. The winery has been owned by the Antinori family since 1995, the year of the first Pian delle Vigne Brunello harvest.
