Il Bruciato displays the usual intense ruby ​​red color. The nose offers notes of ripe red berries, sweet spices, and tobacco. On the palate, it is well-structured and enveloping, with a pleasant fruity aftertaste that makes it easy to drink and lingers.

Tenuta Guado al Tasso is located in the small but prestigious Bolgheri DOC, on the coast of Alta Maremma, about one hundred kilometers southwest of Florence. This appellation has a relatively short history (established in 1995) but boasts international fame as a new benchmark in the global winemaking scene. Tenuta Guado al Tasso extends across 320 hectares of vineyards, on a splendid plain surrounded by hills known as the "Bolgheri amphitheater" due to its unique shape. The Guado al Tasso vineyards are planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Vermentino grapes. They enjoy a mild climate thanks to the nearby sea: constant breezes mitigate the summer heat and the harsh winters, clearing the sky and maintaining high levels of sunshine.
