Description

From the vineyards of the Pèppoli estate, a Chianti Classico is born, blending Sangiovese grapes with complementary varietals, designed to be enjoyed at the peak of its fruity expression. A wine capable of representing the Chianti Classico terroir and its historic varietal through its distinctive floral and fruity aromas.

Tasting notes

A beautiful ruby ​​red color. The nose offers dark notes of blackcurrant, graphite, spices, snuff, leather, and cocoa. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with dense tannins and a healthy freshness.

Cellar

Tenuta Pèppoli is located five kilometers northeast of Tenuta Tignanello and covers a total area of ​​100 hectares, 50 of which are vineyards, which produce Pèppoli Chianti Classico DOCG. Tenuta Pèppoli, as per tradition, also produces the eponymous extra virgin olive oil and Pèppoli red wine vinegar, made by transforming Pèppoli wine into vinegar.
