Tasting notes

On the palate, this wine strikes the perfect balance of the immediately mineral and strongly expressive Chardonnay
Pinot Noir. Aged for more than five years in the cellar, the Prélude cuvée is unique for its extraordinary youth and great richness of flavors.
The bright body is straw yellow with silver reflections, a sign of the high percentage of exceptional Chardonnay.
The bubbles are fine and form a persistent and delicately creamy ring of foam. On the nose, the wine is subtle and fresh. The initial mineral aromas quickly give way to greenery and then
Floral notes with elderflower aromas and spicy hints of cinnamon. The palate is clean and lively, dominated by extremely fresh citrus notes.
These follow into much fuller, rounder, and silkier flavors where the syrupy white peaches predominate. The finish is rich,
Persistent and rich in flavor. Preludio "Grand Cru" is a joyful blend of finesse and complexity. Its balance of freshness and aromatic expression are exceptional.

Cellar

"Having our name on a bottle implies responsibility and rigorous standards at all times. This signature represents both the savoir-faire of the past and a commitment to the future."

The Taittinger family has been running the Champagne House for nearly a century. Their goal has always been the pursuit of excellence. "Having our family name on a bottle places demands and responsibilities on every moment. The name on the bottle conveys both the skills and knowledge of the past and a commitment to the future." Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger has embodied this commitment for 40 years and today shares it with his son Clovis and daughter Vitalie, both of whom work alongside him in the day-to-day running of the Champagne House. Together, they form a very close-knit and complementary family trio.
