Description

Vittorio Moretti. A cuvée that embodies Vittorio Moretti's joy of life, creativity, and indomitable spirit. A Riserva that keeps alive the memory of the Franciacorta land and its perpetual renewal. A bridge between reminiscence and vision, past and future. This precious blend is born from the finest selections: the finest soils and exposures, the finest grapes and the finest harvest splits. The fruit from the oldest vines is fermented in small white oak barrels, while the long maturation on the lees is ennobled by the use of natural cork.

Tasting notes

Bright, brilliant and crystalline yellow in colour.
The sip is characterised by a broad, tense entrance and
energetic. An explosion of flavor that envelops the entire palate
thanks to the perfect softness and finesse of the bubbles. On the palate, savory, mineral, and citrus sensations emerge.
Dynamism and a lengthy palate make this cuvée destined to tell a story that endures over time. An elegant and incredibly clean finish.
Fragrant on the nose, rich with floral notes of white elderflower and jasmine, accompanied by an intriguing note of flint and incense. Typical Mediterranean aromatic herbs, helichrysum and strawberry tree, give way to tropical fruit and citrus notes.

Cellar

They are located on the Bellavista hill, so named for its splendid position that, from a single point, encompasses Lake Iseo and the entire Po Valley, all the way to the Alps. With foresight, Vittorio Moretti devoted particular attention to the acquisition of new vineyards, reaching the current 203 hectares of vineyards, within the Franciacorta winemaking area.

In 1981, Vittorio Moretti met winemaker Mattia Vezzola, who joined the company that same year. His role would be instrumental in defining the Bellavista style. In 2007, Mattia Vezzola received an important lifetime achievement award from the Gambero Rosso-Slow Food Italian Wine Guide as "Winemaker of the Year."

Qualitative consistency

Every action and every thought is aimed at maintaining the typological quality, recognized in every vintage, in every bottle and in every glass.
