Description

Cuvée Royale is made from a selection of Tenuta Montenisa's Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc grapes, resulting in a cuvée with a unique and exquisite harmony, remarkable expressiveness, and elegance. The maturation on the lees enhances its intense aromas, with notes of white peach, bread crust, and yeast. It has a pale straw yellow color and a creamy foam with a fine, persistent perlage. On the palate, it is balanced and showcases the typical liveliness of a Brut. The free-run must underwent its first alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation in the bottle, in contact with the lees, took place over the following 36 months.

Tasting notes

Pale yellow in color, creamy foam with a fine, persistent perlage. The aroma reveals notes of white peach, bread crust, and yeast. Remarkable balance and the liveliness typical of a Brut. The ideal serving temperature is between 7 and 9°C.

Pairings and consumption occasion: Its floral and fruity fragrances make it particularly suitable as an aperitif or with starters based on vegetables, fish and white meats.

Cellar

The Montenisa estate is located in the heart of Franciacorta, around the village of Calino. Grapes have been cultivated in this land of great wines since time immemorial. Some say that "Franciacorta" derives from "Petite France," an affectionate name given to the area by Charlemagne.
