Description

Best Brut, produced using the Charmat method and premiered in summer 2015, is the first sparkling version of Est! Est!! Est!!!, the typical white wine from Montefiascone. Hence its original and playful name: Best Brut.

Tasting notes

Pale yellow in color with greenish highlights, the flavor is direct and fruity with notes of apple. The foam is delicate and pleasant, and the taste has a good acidity with a pleasant, savory finish.

Cellar

Brothers Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella founded the Falesco Winery in Montefiascone, in Upper Lazio, with the aim of recovering the area's ancient vines.

After many years of experimentation and research on the Roscetto variety, production of Poggio dei Gelsi began: a selection of EST! EST!! EST!!! that has restored prestige to an unjustly forgotten territory and wine.

Falesco enriches its assets with the acquisition of the Marciliano farm, covering approximately 260 hectares, located on the stunning hillside south of Orvieto, in the municipalities of Montecchio and Baschi. These vineyards provide the grapes for the Marciliano wine, and the new winery was built on this site in Umbria.
