Whiskey Caol Ila Single Malt 18 Year Old Cl 70 Case

A small masterpiece, thanks to 18 years of barrel aging; produced on the Isle of Islay, from pure malted barley aged in oak barrels. 'Caol Ila' is the Gaelic name for the "Sound of Islay," the strait separating the Isle of Islay from Jura, on the west coast of Scotland. A pale gold in color, the nose opens with notes of yellow fruit and honey, all against a delightful peat backdrop. The palate is balanced and enveloping, with a harmonious and long finish, with smoky and salty overtones.
