Gran Duque de Alba Solera Gran Reserva brandy is one of Jerez's most renowned spirits. Its extraordinary characteristics are the result of a careful selection of all the raw materials used, starting with the selection of grapes for the distillation process. Gran Duque de Alba is distilled using the same Solera system (which consists of arranging the oak barrels in overlapping rows, starting with filling only the topmost barrels; after a year, part of the contents is transferred to the barrels previously located on the lower level, and the upper ones are filled with the new wine, rum, or brandy, and the process is repeated year after year; thus, the wine in the bottom barrels, ready for consumption, is composed of grapes from different vintages, and each year it is enriched with particular flavors).

Aging: Aged for at least three years in oak barrels that previously held sherry. It appears dark mahogany with golden highlights. On the nose, it is sumptuous, with aromas of leather, antique books, toasted marshmallows, pipe tobacco, dried fruit, salted butter, and caramel cream. On the palate, it is extremely sensual, succulent, mature, and sweet, with a very balanced finish.
