The quality and care of the raw materials are the first and most important step in producing a good grappa. For this reason, the healthy, fresh, and vinous pomace of the varieties grown in the most suitable areas is carefully preserved to preserve all their qualitative heritage. Grappa Bianca Alexander, derived from a blend of the most well-known and renowned grape varieties of northeastern Italy, is produced in three stages of distillation at different temperatures in traditional copper stills, which allow for vacuum distillation (greater preservation of the aromas) and in which heating occurs in a bain-marie (an indirect and therefore more delicate system). This results in a smooth, refined grappa that, before bottling, is aged in steel tanks for approximately six months, during which the aromatic profile improves and the rough edges soften. Color and Appearance: Colorless, transparent, and crystalline. Nose: Intense and bold on the nose, it is characterized by its cleanliness, fresh, fruity, berry, and floral notes, and a delicate, nuanced note of dried fruit on the finish. Taste: Pleasant, powerful, vigorous, and elegant at the same time, it presents a balanced smoothness and a persistent fruity aroma that lingers through the retronasal passage. Serving Temperature: 10-12°C. Pairings: Grappa is ideal at the end of a meal, especially with rich meat dishes or flavorful cheeses. It can be enjoyed chilled or very cold and is an excellent ingredient for cocktails and long drinks. It pairs perfectly with dark chocolate and desserts made with cocoa or dried fruit, especially raisins, chestnuts, dates, and dried figs. It is traditionally used to enhance espresso coffee and, in Veneto and Friuli, to dilute the last drops of coffee left at the bottom of the cup (Resentin): the coffee has a tonic effect while the alcohol relaxes and the result of this combination is a pleasant sensation of well-being and vigor.
