Whiskey Springbank Campbeltown Single Malt 10 Years Cl 70

Springbank, made with lightly peated barley (approximately 8-10 ppm) and distilled two and a half times, according to a unique formula whereby 20% of the fruit from the first distillation is set aside and combined with the fruit from the second in a third distillation. The result is an extraordinarily complex new make (white spirit), fruity and oily yet peaty and mineral, harvested at approximately 72%. Springbank 10 Year Old offers the perfect introduction to the distillery's range. A blend of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, it is exceptionally balanced from the first sip to the rich and full finish. Unchill-filtered and uncolored, it is bottled at 46%. Pear fruitiness with a hint of peat, vanilla, and malt. On the palate, malt, oak, spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla essence. A sweet finish with a lingering salty tingle.
