Description

A luminous and perfectly balanced vintage that reflects the beauty, history, and extraordinary nature of Franciacorta. A wine with a memory and a long lifespan. A natural, long-lived, but above all, Italian vintage.

Tasting notes

Intense straw yellow, with a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it expresses the quintessential Bellavista, thanks to a generous yet elegant aroma. Floral notes of hawthorn, mugwort, and bay leaf blend with hints of candied citrus, pastries, and sugared almonds. On the palate, it is dry, elegant, and aristocratic, characterized by a perfect blend of freshness and smoothness. Savory, it concludes with a magnificent finish, both clean and persistent.

Cellar

They are located on the Bellavista hill, so named for its splendid position that, from a single point, encompasses Lake Iseo and the entire Po Valley, all the way to the Alps. With foresight, Vittorio Moretti devoted particular attention to the acquisition of new vineyards, reaching the current 203 hectares of vineyards, within the Franciacorta winemaking area.

In 1981, Vittorio Moretti met winemaker Mattia Vezzola, who joined the company that same year. His role would be instrumental in defining the Bellavista style. In 2007, Mattia Vezzola received an important lifetime achievement award from the Gambero Rosso-Slow Food Italian Wine Guide as "Winemaker of the Year."

Qualitative consistency

Every action and every thought is aimed at maintaining the typological quality, recognized in every vintage, in every bottle and in every glass.
