On the palate, Portobello Road Gin has a generous juniper foam, the mid-palate has a fresh citrus character supported by our use of lemon, bitter orange and coriander, which then develops into a sweet and peppery finish, achieved by the use of liquorice and nutmeg.

Our story

In late 2011, resting over a 19th-century drink on London's famous Portobello Road, three longtime friends—Ged Feltham, Jake Burger, and Paul Lane—decided, after amassing an incredible collection of gin and alcoholic artifacts, to open The Ginstitute, London's premier educational institution and home to Copernicus II, a 30-liter copper pot still. It was here, as they put together this experience, which has since become one of the world's leading gin experiences, that these three gentlemen realized that if they offered the opportunity to blend their own gin, then it truly wouldn't be complete without a gin that could call The Ginstitute home.
