Tanqueray Rangpur Gin Cl 70

Tanqueray Rangpur was launched in 2006. The name refers to the Rangpur lime, a fruit native to India that grows on the rare Rangpur tree. This orange-skinned fruit combines the tanginess of lime with the juiciness of mandarin. The word "rangpur" is of Bengali origin. The fruit is also known as Cantonese lemon in China, hime in Japan, cravo in Brazil, and mandarin lime in the USA. Rangpur limes don't resemble regular limes much, but rather bergamot.

This gin follows a classic Tanqueray distillation, but to the original composition of four botanicals other botanicals have been added, including the characteristic and very rare Indian fruit, the Rangpur lime.

Tanqueray Rangpur isn't a lime-flavored gin. It's a balanced and decidedly zesty gin. The citrus fruits shine through, infusing their aroma and flavor.
