Tasting notes

Bright straw yellow in appearance.
Intense and persistent on the nose, fruity. Notes of ripe pear, apple, honey, and English bonbon are recognizable.
The taste impact is full and dry, with a good structure, the finish in the mouth offers us sensations of pleasant sapidity.

Cellar

The La Crotta di Vegneron Cooperative was founded in 1980 with about 25 members. Today, with more than 50 members, it has grown to produce 200,000 bottles.

The Cooperative harvests grapes from two important production areas that give their names to the designations of origin Chambave (which also includes the municipalities of Châtillon, Pontey, Saint Vincent, Saint Denis and Verrayes) and Nus (which also includes the municipalities of Quart and Fénis).

Ours is, first and foremost, a story of people deeply rooted in this wonderful Alpine region, of generations of skilled viticulturists committed to achieving the highest quality from our vines. La Crotta di Vegneron continues the ancestral tradition of the "campagnards," drawing its strength from the ancient relationship between native vines and the terroir.

The wines and grappas of La Crotta di Vegneron powerfully express the spirit of the Aosta Valley mountains, thanks to native and traditional grape varieties, cultivated with pride and skill. The winemaking process respects a unique terroir characterized by a thousand variations.
