Val delle Rose Litorale DOC 75cl wine

The color is straw yellow with light golden highlights, and it has a very intense fruity aroma reminiscent of ripe summer fruit. On the palate, it displays a strong aromatic note combined with a pleasant persistence. It is an intense and generous wine, with great structure. Overall, it presents itself as a fresh wine.

In 1996 Cecchi purchased the Val delle Rose company in Poggio la Mozza, in the heart of the Morellino di Scansano production area.
At the time of purchase, Val delle Rose had 25 hectares of vineyards.

The intervention can be compared to a small agricultural revolution as the agronomic techniques used until then did not guarantee the consistent quality necessary for the survival of a winery.

The study of the available soils, a practice subsequently conducted by many other Maremma estates, revealed the enormous potential of this terroir, so much so that the company decided to extend the vineyards to the current 100 hectares, where Sangiovese is the protagonist.
