Mezcal Beneva Cl 70

Beneva (which means "wise" in dialect) is committed to preserving its historic character by producing an authentic mezcal, made from 100% Espadín agave, fermented for 48 hours and cooked in a traditional stone oven. This mezcal is aged for an undisclosed period in white oak barrels, to soften its natural roughness. Once bottled, just as ancient tradition dictates, the classic maguey worm, the "gusano," was added, a custom born in Mexico in the 1940s to symbolize the product's authenticity.
