Distilleria Caffo's signature product is Vecchio Amaro del Capo, a Calabrian herbal liqueur made from an ancient Calabrian recipe, subsequently reworked and improved by the experience acquired by four generations of the Caffo family. Vecchio Amaro del Capo encompasses the active ingredients of many beneficial herbs, flowers, fruits, and roots from the generous Calabrian soil, infused in the finest alcohol to aid digestion and provide a pleasant feeling of well-being. Among the 29 medicinal herbs that make up the infusion, we highlight some widely used in Calabria, such as bitter orange, sweet orange, licorice, mandarin, chamomile, and juniper, for their tonic and digestive properties.
