Grappa Marzadro Eighteen Moons Cl 70

A Grappa Stravecchia emblematic of the culture, care, and art of distilling. Obtained from the bain-marie distillation in a pot still of five Trentino pomaces—Marzemino, Teroldego, Merlot, Moscato, and Chardonnay—it ages in small cherry, ash, oak, and black locust barrels, each imparting its own distinctive aroma, color, and flavor. The aging process follows the rhythms of nature: 18 months pass from moon to moon. The aroma intensifies, becoming more ethereal and harmonious, the flavor loses its initial sharpness and rounds out, creating an elegant and silky sensation on the palate. The color reaches a warm amber hue. The Master Distiller oversees the maturation until the ideal blend and full harmony between wood and Grappa are achieved. Thus is born Diciotto Lune Marzadro, a refined meditation Grappa.
