Rum Nation Guatemala Gran Riserva Cl 70 Boxed

A premium rum made from molasses, fermented and distilled in a column still at Destiladora del Alcoholes y Rones, SA Tululà. Once distilled, the rum is transported to northeastern Guatemala in ex-bourbon white oak barrels, where it matures at 185 meters above sea level for at least four years in the Hondo River region. This choice of location, with its high humidity, allows for very rapid and intense maturation, as the Hondo River is one of the warmest areas in Guatemala, with an almost tropical climate. The result is one of the lightest rums in our collection, in true Latin style with its typical sweetness and fragrant notes of vanilla and raisins, yet with a medium body and moderate sugar content.
