Tasting notes

A Chardonnay with precious golden highlights on a bright yellow. The perlage is very fine and persistent.

The bouquet is intense and complex, with a pronounced minerality enriched by exotic notes. Hints of white chocolate and hazelnut are followed by balsamic notes and delicate hints of spice, beeswax, and honey.

Sumptuous sensations emerge from the creamy, velvety body, with fragrances of acacia honey paired with notes of exotic fruit. Over a decade of aging on the lees lends a remarkably complex finish, striking for its elegance and freshness.

THE DREAM
1902

The Ferrari legend was born from one man, Giulio Ferrari, and his dream of creating a wine in Trentino capable of competing with the best French Champagnes.

He was a pioneer: he was the first to understand the extraordinary potential of his land, he was the first to spread Chardonnay in Italy.

He began producing a few, very select bottles, with an obsessive focus on quality.

THE EVOLUTION
1952

Having no children, Giulio Ferrari seeks a successor to whom he can entrust his dream.

Among many applicants, he chose Bruno Lunelli, owner of a wine shop in Trento. Thanks to his passion and entrepreneurial talent, Bruno Lunelli managed to increase production without ever compromising on quality.

FAMILY TRADITION
'70 - '00

Bruno Lunelli passes on his passion to his sons: under the guidance of Franco, Gino and Mauro, Ferrari becomes the leader in Italy

and the quintessential Italian toast. These years saw the birth of some of the labels destined to go down in history: the Ferrari Rosé, the Ferrari Perlé, and the Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore.

AMBASSADORS OF THE ITALIAN ART OF LIVING

TODAY

The third generation of the Lunelli family keeps the Ferrari dream alive.

Marcello, Matteo, Camilla, and Alessandro lead the company with an extraordinary team committed to innovating while maintaining tradition, bringing Ferrari to the world as an ambassador of the Italian Art of Living.
