Castello della Sala Cervaro IGT 2020 Wine, 37.5 cl

Cervaro della Sala is a pale yellow in color with still-visible greenish highlights. The nose is intense and complex, with notes of citrus, pineapple, and acacia blossoms harmoniously blending with hints of vanilla and flint. On the palate, it is full-bodied, refined, and well-structured; the pleasant savory character is well-balanced by the typical sweet notes of hazelnut butter.

Castello della Sala is located in Umbria, a short distance from the Tuscan border, approximately 18 kilometers from the historic city of Orvieto. The lands of the Castello, an imposing medieval manor, extend over 500 hectares, 170 hectares of which are planted with vineyards, at an altitude of 220-470 meters above sea level, amid the rolling hills that characterize the beautiful countryside of this area. The soil is predominantly clayey and calcareous, rich in fossil shells, with vineyards well exposed to the rising sun and excellent temperature ranges: Castello della Sala is a highly suited area for the production of white wines. One exception: Pinot Noir, which finds ideal conditions in this terroir to express its full potential.
