The Terre Margaritelli winery was founded in 1950 by Fernando Margaritelli, who, retiring from business at the age of 60, decided to cultivate vines for his own enjoyment, producing wine for himself and his family. This activity remains solely for the family and an expression of the Margaritelli family's passion for the land.

In 2000, Giuseppe Margaritelli, Fernando's son, honoring his father's passion, decided to expand the property and launch the Terre Margaritelli winery project. From there, the vineyard was replanted, the first winemaking operations were carried out, and the transition to organic farming began. Today, the company, which is entirely organic, produces all its own wines.
