Description

In the heart of the Valpolicella Classica area, in the hamlet of Prognol, on dry-stone terraces exposed to a mild, temperate climate that benefits from the presence of Lake Garda, this wine, born from the continuous research and experimentation of Domini Veneti, originates.

Its grapes come from the Marano area, harvested in October, and are strictly hand-selected. Fermentation occurs with complete malolactic fermentation, while it ages first in wood, then in stainless steel, and finally in bottle for 4-6 months.

Tasting notes

The Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Classico Superiore Collezione Pruviniano Domìni Veneti, with a satisfying ruby red color, is characterized by its fine, fruity aroma.
On the palate it is warm, full-bodied, persistent, with lively tannins and an aftertaste of dried fruit, walnuts and toasted almonds.

Cellar

Domìni Veneti is the epitome of quality wines from the Valpolicella Classica and Veronese regions. It represents the most authentic expression of a geographically and historically distinct territory.
Since 1968, the "Valpolicella Classica del vino" (Valpolicella Classica wine) has been designated as the production zone for Valpolicella DOC wines, a territorial area that includes the municipalities of the Historic and Geographical Valpolicella regions. The term "Classica" (Classic) distinguishes the historic zone from the so-called "extended" zone, which includes the territories east of Verona.
A vast, yet clearly defined, territory, which, together with the varied and distinctive properties of the native grape varieties (Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, Dindarella, Oseleta, Rossignola, Negrara, Forselina), a profound respect for the land, and traditional production techniques, determines the absolute originality of Valpolicella wines.
This is nature's heritage, to be made to flourish with respect.
