Description

Ice Impérial, the first champagne created specifically to be served over ice (the first and only champagne designed specifically to be served "on the rocks"). A new champagne experience that embodies fun, freshness, and freedom, while remaining true to the Moët & Chandon style: a style distinguished by its brilliantly fruity flavor, seductive palate, and elegant maturity.

Tasting notes

The broad, pulpy and voluptuous aroma of a fresh fruit salad.
The captivating sweetness of caramel and quince jam.
The refreshing acidity of grapefruit, combined with notes of ginger.

Cellar

In 1743, Claude Moët founded the Maison Moët in Épernay, about thirty kilometers from the city of Reims, and quickly brought it great fame at the greatest European courts.
The Maison developed mainly from 1792 onwards thanks to Jean-Rémy Moët, grandson of the founder, who made Moët an international symbol of luxury and celebration.
In 1833, the name Chandon was added to that of Moët following the arrival of Pierre-Gabriel Chandon, son-in-law of Jean-Rémy Moët, at the helm of the estate.
Over the course of the 20th century, Moët & Chandon's history underwent significant developments. Moët et Chandon acquired the Champagne houses Ruinart and Mercier in 1962 and 1970, respectively. This was followed by the purchase of the Christian Dior perfumery and the merger with the Cognac house Hennessy. In 1987, Moët & Chandon became part of the global LVMH group and began rigorously selecting its terroirs, whose cellar master, Benoît Gouez, extolls their uniqueness, vintage after vintage.
For over two and a half centuries, Moët & Chandon has continued to write the history of a prestigious Champagne House that endures. Although the number of bottles produced each year remains a secret, Moët & Chandon is today the most important Champagne producer.
