Italian oranges combined with a selection of ripe Sicilian blood oranges are blended with the finest botanicals and hand-picked juniper to create a juicy, vibrant gin.

The blood oranges, harvested in November, are strictly Sicilian and give the Malfy family's orange gin a refreshing, sweet and sour citrus flavour, accompanied by an explosion of orange blossom flavour and delicate notes of juniper that enchant the palate at the end of the tasting.

Thanks to the cylindrical opalescent glass bottle with a cap made of fine Italian oak, the eye is captured by the dark ruby ​​red color of this precious distillate while the nose finds, with every sip, a mix of bitterness and the sweet citrus of orange that is difficult to forget.

Malfy Gin with orange is produced by Torino Distillati of Moncalieri, a distillery founded in 1906 and run by the Vergnano family. Thanks to the passion of master distillers Beppe Ronco and Denis Muni, the distillery boasts an innovative vacuum distillation process that respects the tradition of the 11th-century Benedictine monks, who were the first to discover the enchanting flavors created by combining alcohol and juniper berries for medicinal purposes.

Malfy's freshness is achieved thanks to the innovative vacuum distillation process which, thanks to a temperature of 60°C, guarantees evaporation that does not alter the composition of the 9 botanicals used in Malfy Gin with orange, which maintain their flavour intact, which would otherwise be degraded by the intense heat.

Citrus fruits are then added to the botanicals, first soaked in alcohol and then pressed with a traditional press and subsequently distilled with Tuscan juniper berries.

The resulting filtrate is finally mixed and blended with water from Monviso, the purest and highest water in Italy, to become a true Malfy gin.
