Description

Montefalco Rosso DOC is an excellent red wine, the result of a blend of Sangiovese, Sagrantino, and Merlot. Aged for at least a year in Slavonian oak barrels and French oak barriques, followed by another four months in the bottle, it offers intriguing aromas and a harmonious taste.

The taste enters the mouth dry, fresh, with just the right softness in contrast to the tannins.

Cellar

Marco Caprai believed in the richness of this tradition and revived it with a modern twist, adopting the most innovative production and winemaking methods. Through continuous research and experimentation, we strive to offer our customers powerful, elegant wines with great personality and distinctive character.

Our modern and functional cellar was completely renovated in 1997 and today features a winemaking and storage department, an aging cellar with Slavonian barrels and barriques, and a bottle aging department.
