Description

Tellus's image has always been linked to the world of art. Its label, revisited for the 2009 vintage, was created during an event held at Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome, during which a group of artists captured the impressions of passionate tasters on canvas.

Tasting notes

With an intense color and purple highlights, the bouquet exudes aromas of fresh fruit and cherry, with spicy notes that blend with great balance and elegance with vanilla and sweet oak notes. The palate is enveloping and silky, with soft tannins and a rich, persistent finish.

Cellar

Brothers Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella founded the Falesco Winery in Montefiascone, in Upper Lazio, with the aim of recovering the area's ancient vines.

After many years of experimentation and research on the Roscetto variety, production of Poggio dei Gelsi began: a selection of EST! EST!! EST!!! that has restored prestige to an unjustly forgotten territory and wine.

Falesco enriches its assets with the acquisition of the Marciliano farm, covering approximately 260 hectares, located on the stunning hillside south of Orvieto, in the municipalities of Montecchio and Baschi. These vineyards provide the grapes for the Marciliano wine, and the new winery was built on this site in Umbria.
