Description

Barolo Oddero is born in vineyards located in the municipality of La Morra, in the heart of Piedmont.
It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, hand-picked during the first ten days of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 20 days. The wine then ages in barriques for 30 months before being bottled.

Tasting notes

It's a wine of persuasive and elegant aromas, with hints of berries, natural balsamic notes, Mediterranean scrub, and dried rose, which, with aging, evoke tar. The palate is beautifully balanced, with fine and powerful tannins and a long, complex finish.

Cellar

Poderi e Cantine Oddero is one of the historic brands among Barolo producers. The company's roots date back to the late 18th century, when our family's ancestors began making their own wine. The cellars, located in the Santa Maria district of La Morra, stand on a natural terrace overlooking the Langhe hills. Immersed in a sea of meticulously tended vineyards, our company cultivates 35 hectares of the finest crus in the Langhe and Asti areas, from which it obtains the finest Piedmontese wines:

Barolo, Barbaresco, Langhe Nebbiolo, Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Barbera d'Asti and Moscato.

Ancient wisdom and cutting-edge production techniques. Tenacity, patience, and respect for the raw materials and the terroir. For us, producing wine means taking care of every detail: from winter pruning to spring green harvests, from thinning to harvest, right through to pressing, fermentation, and the long aging process. Quality is a value discovered in the details.
