Description

A historic grape variety prized since Roman times, Moscato Bianco produces clusters that, when fully ripe, have a beautiful amber color. It is from these grapes that the Oddero winery produces Moscato d'Asti DOCG "Cascina Fiori."

Tasting notes

A beautifully intense yellow color, a fragrant and aromatic bouquet with subtle nuances of mandarin, grapefruit, white peach, flowers, and sage, a fresh palate, and a sweet and aromatic flavor. It's a wine suited to accompanying the best traditional Italian desserts. In our opinion, it also lends itself well to more daring pairings with more intense flavors: with certain moderately aged cheeses, with salami and figs, as an aperitif. Some even dare to pair it with grilled prawns. After all, if you think about it, a traditional snack in our house was: bread, tuma (sheep's milk cheese), and Moscato.

Cellar

Poderi e Cantine Oddero is one of the historic brands among Barolo producers. The company's roots date back to the late 18th century, when our family's ancestors began making their own wine. The cellars, located in the Santa Maria district of La Morra, stand on a natural terrace overlooking the Langhe hills. Immersed in a sea of meticulously tended vineyards, our company cultivates 35 hectares of the finest crus in the Langhe and Asti areas, from which it obtains the finest Piedmontese wines:

Barolo, Barbaresco, Langhe Nebbiolo, Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Barbera d'Asti and Moscato.

Ancient wisdom and cutting-edge production techniques. Tenacity, patience, and respect for the raw materials and the terroir. For us, producing wine means taking care of every detail: from winter pruning to spring green harvests, from thinning to harvest, right through to pressing, fermentation, and the long aging process. Quality is a value discovered in the details.
