Description

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, two grapes characterized by intense aromatics and capable of giving their wines remarkable freshness and personality. A wine with a modern edge yet deeply rooted in its terroir; the vineyards are located in Umbria, on the border between northern Lazio and Tuscany, where the sandy, fossil-rich soil provides the vines with the right nutrients and a splendid underlying minerality to the final wine.

Tasting notes

A bright straw yellow color, it opens on the nose with intense, typical varietal notes of sage and citrus, tropical fruit, and cracked stone. On the palate, it is fresh, well-balanced with just the right amount of acidity, delicately savory, and has a lovely citrusy finish.

Cellar

Paolo and Noemia d'Amico have pursued their passion for wine and created an award-winning portfolio of eight organic wines grown and produced in Umbria. Using primarily French grape varieties, the volcanic soil of the Calanchi Valley adds a touch of class to all their wines.

Once produced, the wines are stored to the sound of classical music in the cellar designed by Noemia d'Amico and world-renowned architect Luca Brasini. Carved from tuff rock, the cellar extends beneath the hanging garden, through magnificent structural arches that create an enchanting path to the library, adjacent to a room where Paolo and Noemia d'Amico's wines are tasted.
