William Lawson's Finest Blended embodies the finest Scottish whisky-making tradition. It's the Blended Scotch that's been around since 1849, when William Lawson, a Dundee merchant, decided to produce a very special blend.
William Lawson's is, in fact, produced using an ancient technique called "double blending in oak sherry butts," which involves returning the product to a barrel used to age sherry after the final blend has been created. It is then left to mature for an additional six months, allowing the blending of the different whiskies to occur slowly.
