Description

Alma Assemblage 1 represents our most authentic interpretation of Franciacorta.
It is the ultimate expression of a project born in 1977 with the aim of seeking the pure essence of harmony. Today, it is the symbol of a tradition that embodies the most mysterious soul of our land and the Bellavista winemaking style. It is a profound tribute to the place where we planted our roots, loving and protecting them. It encapsulates a viticultural heritage that reflects the meticulous care we devote to every stage of the process and the respect we accord time, choosing nature and its extraordinary biodiversity as our sole guide. Assemblage 1 because every harvest is a new beginning, an act of listening to and interpreting nature.
Composing a cuvée is a complex process that requires balancing the winery's style with the specific characteristics of the harvest, ensuring the wine's consistent sensory profile.
Tradition evolves and is renewed every year.

Tasting notes

Bright and pure yellow in colour.
The perlage is fine and persuasive, which anticipates, in the
its persistence, a creamy palate
rich and enveloping.
On the nose a delicate bouquet of Mediterranean flowers that
combines with lively citrus notes, offering
freshness and complexity.
On the palate it is dynamic and tense, with a
mineral finish that adds depth
and character. It shows an evident structure that
it combines with a deep balance and harmony.
Natural freshness combines with a
stylistic maturity, creating an experience
complete and satisfying taste.

Cellar

They are located on the Bellavista hill, so named for its splendid position that, from a single point, encompasses Lake Iseo and the entire Po Valley, all the way to the Alps. With foresight, Vittorio Moretti devoted particular attention to the acquisition of new vineyards, reaching the current 203 hectares of vineyards, within the Franciacorta winemaking area.

In 1981, Vittorio Moretti met winemaker Mattia Vezzola, who joined the company that same year. His role would be instrumental in defining the Bellavista style. In 2007, Mattia Vezzola received an important lifetime achievement award from the Gambero Rosso-Slow Food Italian Wine Guide as "Winemaker of the Year."

Qualitative consistency

Every action and every thought is aimed at maintaining the typological quality, recognized in every vintage, in every bottle and in every glass.
