On the nose it has good intensity, with notes of black cherry in alcohol and dried fruit.

Sweet and intense, it has persistent aromas of ripe red fruit, enhanced when drunk at a temperature of 16/17 degrees.

On the palate it is quite fresh, warm and soft.

The blend of the various components is good, resulting in a long-lasting taste and olfactory experience.

Aleatico, a grape variety of ancient origins, was brought to Italy from Greece, spreading first to Puglia and subsequently to a few other small towns throughout Italy. In Lazio, particularly in a small area overlooking the northeastern shore of Lake Bolsena, the variety thrived, finding an ideal and optimal adaptation to the soils and microclimate.

It is from this grape that the region's only fortified wine is obtained, which is produced in a limited area limited to the municipalities of Gradoli, Grotte di Castro, San Lorenzo Nuovo and Latera.

The bunch is small with vermilion-colored grapes and a transparent skin very rich in bloom which gives it a matte black appearance.

The production regulations impose a maximum yield per hectare of 90 quintals and a maximum wine yield of 70%.
